Event Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead an event role in Sweden and the Baltics at a market leading and growing account at ISS. This role will truly test your delivery capability and organizational skills within event initiatives at a high level. This new role will play a critical part in shaping the future events across our client’s workplace. The successful candidate will have an excellent eye for event strategy and detail, be able to effectively deliver timely communication to stakeholders, inspire and empower event teams and build excellent working relationships with all stakeholders

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Responsibility for the entire event process from strategy to execution, including planning, budgeting and follow-up.
  • Coordination and collaboration with ISS's local service team.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Leadership and team management: lead project managers, technical staff, and suppliers to ensure smooth collaboration and successful deliverables.
  • Compliance with safety standards and permit requirements

Qualifications & Experience 

  • University degree in a relevant field (e.g. event management or project management)
  • Work experience within Event & Project Management
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Good knowledge of digital tools/systems such as MS Office
  • Ability to quickly learn new technical and digital solutions.
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant event industry experience.
  • Experience in leading teams or projects in an effective and coaching manner.
  • Event planning and execution: Documented experience of organizing and running events from the idea stage to implementation and follow-up.
  • Project management: Used to managing multiple projects at once, working against deadlines, and staying within budget.
